Wine Dinner FAQ

What should I expect of a Wine Dinner experience at Vin 909?

A wine dinner is a more intimate opportunity to experience an elevated Vin 909 experience. Each wine dinner is a little different but they all include a specially cured multi-course progressive meal created by Chef Scotty for the specific event. Each course of the meal will be expertly paired with wine curated by management. There are small presentations made describing the inspiration for and the story behind the wine and the food. 

How many people can I purchase tickets for? 

You can purchase tickets for one to a maximum of four people. Given the limited size of our space all parties are subject to communal seating. If you are interested in a party larger than 4 people, please email jenni@vin909wine.com to make that request.

What is included in the price?

Each wine dinner is priced based on the food and wine chosen for that date. The total price of a wine dinner includes the meal, the wine pairing, the tax, and the gratuity. The full cost of the ticket is due at the time of booking. 

What if I have to cancel?

If you need to cancel, and are able to do so by the Thursday before the wine dinner, you will receive a full refund. Reservations can be canceled by emailing jenni@vin909wine.com. Please include the first/last name of the ticket holder(s). If the cancelation falls after Thursday, we can transition the ticket to someone else of your choosing or the cost of the ticket will be forfeited in its entirety. If you wish to transfer your ticket to a different person, please email jenni@vin909wine.com.

What if I am running late?

We know life gets in the way sometimes…You will receive a text message reminding you of the wine dinner the Friday before the wine dinner. Save this text message to let us know if you are running late.  Please note, since this is a large group experience, we cannot delay the start of the wine dinner. 

What if I have allergies?

Please email jenni@vin909wine.com to share any/all food allergies you have. Kindly include the first/last name of the guest. We will get back to you within 48 hours. Please allow adequate time for us to review and respond to your email.

Can I get additional food off of the menu?

Because this is a very unique and planned experience at Vin 909, no additional food can be purchased off of the menu. 

Can I get additional drinks off of the menu?

Non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Because this is a very unique and planned experience at Vin 909, no additional alcoholic beverages can be purchased off of the menu. 

How would you recommend I tip?

A 20% gratuity is included in the price of the wine dinner ticket. Additional gratuity is always appreciated.

What if I don’t like something on the Wine Dinner menu?

Vin 909 recommends that you review the wine dinner menu prior to purchasing a ticket. We are unable to make substitutions to our Wine Dinner menu and invite you to check back for future wine dinner menus that may more align with your tastes. You can always visit us and enjoy our regular menu of course!

Are children allowed to attend a wine dinner?

Wine Dinners are an adult-only experience. Children ages 16 and up can enjoy wine dinners.
